    Hello there!

I’m optimizing a website for a customer that is using Caldera Forms.
We are having the “invalid token” problem, which is related with the wordpress nonce. I was reading a lot about it and I know that the issue is caused when the html page is cached longer that the wordpress nonce (usually issued for 12 hours).

However, I’m having this issue even if the page was cached just few minutes before ?? What I mean is that if I purge the cache from the server, I’m able to open a page with a form and sent it successfully. But if I open the same page in other device, just after 1 or 2 minutes, I’m not able to send and I receive the “invalid token” message.

Any idea about what is causing this issue?

    Many thanks

    Hi Agomendes,

Thanks for using Caldera Forms. Thanks for being a part of our community.

We’ve documented the solution the causes and solutions to this issue here:
    https://calderaforms.com/doc/caldera-forms-submission-rejected-token-invalid-mean/.

It sounds like you’ve already read this document. If you have adjusted your caching settings and your form is still showing unexpected behaviors, I would suggest testing the form with no caching at all. This may require support from either your hosting provider, or the caching plugin you are using. If this resolves the problem, your hosting or caching plugin’s support will be better suited to provide a recommendation that works.

I’m going to close this ticket for now, but don’t hesitate to reply if your hosting support or caching plugin support requests more information about your Caldera Forms setup. We are happy to help.
