• Hello. Since a few days the file https://www.mysite.com/post-sitemap.xml in my site appears randomly invalid.

This sitemap file is generated by yoast but the problem, from my point of view, not come from plugin.

Sometimes (not always) mysteriously add in the first line of the xml file a code line related to siteorigin panels, that belongs to some posts that are built with Page Builder. Like this:

    “div id=”pl-7917″ class=”panel-layout” >
    < div class=”siteorigin-panels-stretch mob-pad-0 panel-row-style panel-row-style-for-7917-0″ style=”padding: 100px 0; ” data-stretch-type=”full” data -overlay=”true” data-overlay-color=”#000000″ ><div id=”pgc-7917-0-0″ class=”panel-grid-cell”

By adding this code in the first line (before the necessary syntax: <?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF…etc), the sitemap is invalid and google search console fails to read it.

Could someone help me correct this?

    Anticipated thanks to all.

  • Hi @defdas2,

To investigate whether the issue is related to your current theme (Sydney), try temporarily switching to one of default WordPress theme. If possible, run this test in a private mode with the help of Health Check plugin, this will prevent your test affecting your site’s visitors.

I will do what you tell me. The result is slow because I have to go testing the compatibility of all the plugins. Thank you so much.
