Hello,

I have been trying to add the code from EasyRotator Software to the wordpress it doesn’t seem to work in the header.php but with other pages or posts it works all fine.

Whenever I try to add in header.php it gives me an error: I have links to my ‘ORIGINAL HEADER.PHP / MODIFIED WITH EASYROTATOR CODE and ERROR’

Hi Waqas,

Thanks for using EasyRotator. I just checked the page at https://moargh.de/portfolio/downloads/wp-theme-balloons/ but there doesn’t appear to be any EasyRotator code on that page. Can you please confirm the latest URL?

Hello,

I sent you a link for the theme that I am using here https://www.lukesescape.com. Every time I add the rotator in the header.php this is the error I get:

I didn’t leave the EasyRotator code online because I have people visiting the site. But I am using a theme and here is the link to it https://moargh.de/portfolio/downloads/wp-theme-balloons/

Or if you think I shall add code and leave it online, I’ll try doing that too.

Hi Waqas,

First of all, when modifying the template code, you need to also remove the <h1> and </h1> tags that appear before and after the easyrotator_display_rotator call.

The primary error, though, indicates that you have an invalid rotator ID. Double-check that you copied the correct rotator ID as described here: https://www.dwuser.com/support/easyrotator/kb/template-function/ .

If you have more trouble, please open a support ticket and send temporary WordPress and FTP credentials so I can confirm if the rotator exists.
