• Hello,

I just bought the pro version so I can check out the pro slideshows as that is what I’m looking for. I’ve installed the free version then upload the .zip file for the pro version. Everything seems fine, I was able to create a gallery, however when I try and create a slideshow within a post and click save…I get an “Invalid Request” error. That’s all that pops up.

I tried other browsers, but any browser other than Chrome won’t even load the “kitchen sink” window, just a white window pops up with a really tiny scroll bar. Hosted on DreamHost Linux. Tried disabling some plugins, but no success.

@zhazell: Were you able to successfully upload and display galleries with NextGEN 2.0 only (with Pro deactivated)? This sounds more like NextGEN problem than a Pro problem.

If you’re willing to share login information, we’d be happy to login and trouble shoot. You can send it via our bug report form and it will go straight to tech support and our developers. Be sure to say we asked for credentials.

@photocrati: I was able to upload 30 photos to a gallery just fine. I can view all the pictures. Doesn’t matter is pro is enabled or disabled, same outcome. “Invalid request”

Little iffy on giving you access. Will you only use it to look at the problem?

White page seems to have gone away, but I still get the error when trying to add a slides how via the kitchen sink button in a post

I also sent you the credentials to login

Zach – Bug Report received. We’ll be very delicate with your credentials and site. Thanks!

Similar problem here. Just upgraded to 2.0 here and got the following errors:

    1) Attach-to-post does open the dialogue box but every save operation results in an “invalid request” error.

    2) Whenever having accessed the attach-to-post dialogue I have to re-login to my backend!! It even throws up the screen directly, ignoring my htpasswd!! Seems to be related to the first issue, because when hitting the “manage albums” tab in the attach-to-post dialogue, I see my login screen in the box!

I did not have these issues on my local test site. The only difference I am aware of is Joost’s WordPress SEO plugin. However, deactivating the plugin did not have any effect at all.

    3) Language folder is not included in the upgrade installation. Had to find it searching your website and copy it manually.

PLEASE! This really makes the backend of my site close to unusable and keeps me from making the gallery settings I need to make in order to get my site back to normal appearence (e.g. change album specific sort order).

Any update? I sent you my info and someone logged into the site… but haven’t heard anything.

I’ve got this same problem. When I want to add a gallery it won’t save and diplays ‘Invalid request’ instead.

Same problem with me, invalid request for attach to post and the asking for WP login for each options tab. Help!

Forgot to mention that. Same as Woahtherpickle, always have to login again.

having the same problem! Just bought next gen pro and it wont work. on top of that I cannot use the gallery setting tab either, it just doesnt load. very disappointing.

and when i deactivate the pro pluggin, everything goes back to normal
