So I was testing this plugin out the other day, and I couldn’t work out was why there were 0 results shown after a scan for cookies (101 URLs scanned) using the Cookie Scanner.

Revisiting it today, it appears I’m unable to start the whole process from scratch as I see the error message ‘Invalid request’ when trying to disconnect from CookieYes. The same message shows when clicking ‘Scan again’.

Also, in settings when clicking the option ‘Delete site data from CookieYes’, I get the error message ‘Delete failed, please try again later’.

Can you please let me know if there’s any way to disconnect and start again?

    Thanks

Well, of course having been trying to find a way around it for the last half hour and eventually deciding to log a support topic it starts working again 2 mins later.

    *shakes fist in the air*

Ach. Anyway, it appears to be able to scan again now so I’ll run it and see if any results show.

Unfortunately when running a scan I get 0 cookies found.

I’m not able to see which URLs were scanned specifically (there’s a limit), but it would seem unlikely that this has worked properly.

Is there a way to know for sure?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Just noting that the site is behind http auth – would this affect the scan process at all?

    Hi @simonlayfield,

Htaccess restriction will affect the scanner as it won’t be able to reach the scanner. Kindly disable the restrictions and then try to scan.
