    Hi there,

I noticed that I am having a similar problem that many other folks are having where I enter all of the credentials correctly when attempting to establish a connection with Eventbrite, but I end seeing the error message that an invalid request is being made. I have tried all of the suggestions the other threads mentioned, from uninstalling and reinstalling the plugins, from deleting and creating new API keys, to emptying my browser (Safari cache) and deleting cookies, and trying the same process on Chrome but nothing is working. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this? Thanks!

I am working on it for a freelance client, hence the reason for the long domain, although I don’t believe that would have an impact on the connection to Eventbrite, would it?

    Hello,

I’m able to access the link, so no, it shouldn’t make a difference, as long as the domain is entered correctly in the OAuth Redirect URI setting in your Eventbrite app (Connecting to Eventbrite step #3 in the docs).

When trying to connect, do you get to the green button step? And it’s after clicking that button that you get your error? If not, can you let me know where in that process things break down, and we’ll get you sorted.

    Hello, any luck with this?

Hi there, so the short answer is no, I haven’t had any luck. I am having exactly the same problem as before. I have ensured the OAuth Redirect URI is correct, as well as everything else and once I click Eventbrite to authenticate, I receive the invalid request screen. This is BEFORE the green button appears. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hi, sorry the auth isn’t working out; can you email [email protected] with the email you use for your Eventbrite account, and I’ll see if they can find something on their end.

Hello, it doesn’t look like we received an email from you; are you still having issues?

My client decided to not use Eventbrite, so I no longer need the plugin. Thanks for following up though!
