I have removed the logic, it shows me the confirmation receipt after payment which worked fine instead of the ‘Invalid reference’. I believe this solve the issue now but let me know if you are okay with the link i sent earlier to calculate the range.

Just a quick question, I changes the confirmation message in the php file which worked fine, my question goes thus: hope the changes i have made wont change back to the default confirmation message after few weeks or months because i want the message to be the permanent confirmation message afte payment is successful

If you update or rollback the plugin, you would need to make this change again to work for your site. I would like to integrate a fix for this in an upcoming release, but will need to know when this happens exactly so we can fix it.

I cannot guarantee there will be a fix in the next release but we will try really hard to figure this out.

I will be happy if this can be fixed because the client keeps coming back that this is not the supposed message which makes the developer looks stupid or foolish because it was corrected.
Just a suggestion, you can add it as an editable template in the membership settings for user friendliness and for developers who does not understand php.

Thanks for your patience @ayomide7, we’ve started working on a fix for this that will be included in the next release so you may update your plugin when it’s released.

I am going to mark this ticket as resolved for now. Please keep an eye out for a new update in the near future.

@ayomide7 version 1.7.6 just released and includes this fix to remove the amount checker that was failing on your site.

@ayomide7 what’s the latest from Paystack? I think I’m also experiencing a similar issue. Payment gets completed, but it shows pending on the pmpro backend. And when I manually change it to successful, it doesn’t assign the user to the required membership. @andrewza, I don’t know if you can help but this is the checkout page – https://djetlawyer.com/membership-checkout/

@olyray would you mind opening up a new thread regarding this? It sounds like your webhooks in Paystack may not be configured to point to your site.

It should point to (Please replace <<URL>> with your site URL) – https://<<URL>>/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=pmpro_paystack_ipn
