Invalid provider

    After adding the 2FA Code, I got this error:

    WP-2FA: Please contact the administrator for further assistance!Invalid provider.


    I can not longer log into my website.

    even when I disabled the plugin and try to log in, my account became no longer Administrator.

    I am sorry to read about your issue. The plugin shows that “failover message” only when a third party provider is in use and it is not available.

    If you disable the plugin you should be able to log in without any issues. If you disable the plugin and you still cannot log in, then the issue is from another plugin and not from WP 2FA.

    What do you mean by “My account became no longer administrator?” Can you please elaborate?

    Also, what version of the plugin and WordPress are you using and which 2FA method have you set up?

    The more information and details you can share with us about the setup etc the better we can understand the context of the issue.
