    I still have a problem with GA4.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Site Kit. Reset the plugin and connect again.

GA4 receives no data from the site, always zero.

I checked the tags and I get this error for GA4:
    – Invalid or missing account ID

What can I do to set it right? I let Site Kit install it automatically.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @dandr69,

Thanks for reaching out. From reviewing your sites source code I don’t see any Site Kit placed GA4 snippet. For that reason I suspect you may need to enquire about this in the Analytics Help Center, where the product experts have more insights into GA4 reporting than we do here in the Site Kit plugin forums.

Before you do reach out to the Analytics Help Center, can you share where you’re seeing the “Invalid or missing account ID” message? If this with the Tag Assistant Legacy Chrome extension? If so, a more ideal way to check for GA4 reporting is to use the tagassistant.google.com service.

Look, if I look at the source code:
    – Google Analytics snippet added by Site Kit

    Numbers are right.

    Tag Assistant sees no error.

    Hi @dandr69,

Thanks for the update, and apologies, I do see that you’re using Site Kit to insert your GA4 snippet. I was using your UA snippet to check for an associated GA4 snippet, and you’re not using Site Kit to insert this snippet.

Regarding the numbers you’re seeing not matching, these numbers are from the analytics.google.com, and not the Site Kit dashboard. The Site Kit dashboard only displays Universal Analytics data. For that reason you will need to reach out to the Analytics product experts over at the official Analytics Help Center, if the issue you’re encountering is in relation to no data reporting in the Analytics dashboard.

I can also confirm what you’ve mentioned, that the tagassistant.google.com service is showing hits. It’s possible there could be an issue on the Analytics dashboard for your connected GA4 property.
