    Hi

I came across this plugin today, and so far have been going along ok. I have figured out how to make a custom field that I created on Zendesk show up on my form, but the only option I can get is Invalid Options set for this field

I have spent a while now trying to work it out, but seem to be going in circles.

I have set options in for the field in Zendesk.

I know that I am running an older version of WordPress, but am not game to upgrade it at the moment, as if it breaks my site… I just can’t afford to deal with that right now.

I am sure it is something simple that I missed, and any help is appreciated.

    Craig

    Hi Craig,

It looks like you’re on WordPress 4.6.9 which should work no problem.

Please could you copy the contents of this box and paste them into a reply here? I suspect there may be an error somewhere in the formatting. It should be possible for me to fix that for you and send the updated text.

    Thanks, and Happy Holidays!

    Hi Phil.

Thank you for your reply. I have been away from the office over the holidays, and only just got back to looking at this.

Turns out, that the section you refer to in the image, I read it as “optional” and had not put anything in there. I was expecting it to pull that info from the Custom Ticket that I made in Zendesk.

So I have done that and I can now get the options to appear, I have only done two until I have figured all this out then I will add more.

The problem now is when I make a test submission, I do not see the drop-down field selection in the resulting notification email that I receive. The Text-box option contains the message that I wrote and the attachment that I added is received, but nothing for the for drop-down menu choice that I made.

Clearly, I have made another mistake and I would be grateful for your guidance.

    Cheers

    Craig

    Hi Phil

Not sure if you are still on holidays or busy or perhaps missed my reply above. Just hoping that you might be able to offer some assistance. I am really keen to get this sorted out.

    Thanks

Hi Craig, apologies for the delay!

I think I might need to log in to your WP site and Zendesk to double check the settings. Would that be ok? You can send login details securely to support[at]pipdig.co.uk and it will go directly to me. You’re welcome to change the password before and after I have logged in for additional peace of mind. Or you could create a separate admin account for me if you prefer.

    Thanks,

    Phil
