Hello!

I’ve been using YASR successfully in my blog for a long time, but today I just got a message from Google Search Console informing me of an ‘Invalid object type for field “itemReviewed”‘ in this post: https://viviralmaximo.net/libros-cambiar-vida/.

Here are the details:

Detected items: 15340 (1 error)
Invalid object type for field “itemReviewed”
– type: AggregateRating
– ratingValue: 3.9
– ratingCount: 10
– bestRating: 5
– worstRating: 1

Any ideas on why is this happening and how to fix it?

Hi @dudo!

Saving the post solved the issue, but looks like now Google is detecting this problem in all my +300 posts, and I cannot go one by one saving them…

Is there any alternative you can think of?

Can you please try to:

Download this file https://gist.github.com/Dudo1985/f9056a430ac33053dcc6a6dbb5c9856e and upload with ftp in wp-content/plugins/yet-another-stars-rating/includes/ and overwrite the old one?

I’ve started the validation progress in Google Search Console. I will let you know how it goes.

Hi @dudo!

Google Search Console says the validation fails, so I still have 130 ‘Invalid object type for field “itemReviewed”‘ errors ??

The source is the Smartphone crawler, btw, in case that helps. Here is a screenshot:

Download this file https://gist.github.com/Dudo1985/f9056a430ac33053dcc6a6dbb5c9856e and upload with ftp in wp-content/plugins/yet-another-stars-rating/includes/ and overwrite the old one?

Further, if you updated to last version, this file have been overwritten, be sure to upload it again and let me know

I’ve tested this link (it was in the screen) before and it returned the error, now works
