I am using your plugin and getting this error- “Invalid Nonce” while trying to login or register, from last week or so (last update).

Note: using WP Super Cache plugin but even after restricting the caching of login/register page, the issue remains unresolved.

  • I have the same error…
Users can’t login anymore. I Only recieve this message: “Ongeldige nonce.”
    Translated to English: “Invalid Nonce”

This when I try to login by PC or by mobile phone.

I have this issues since the last update.
I Use WP Super Cache instead, but when I disable this plugin, it didn’t work eather.

Please, can you support any help?
    I’ve a paid license.

    Thanks.

I don’t know if it’s related but since the last update of UM and UM Theme, the UM reCAPTCHA plugin also has some issues.

Logging in and registering no longer works because it indicates that the recaptcha (v3.0) is incorrect / invalid.

Usually this problem is related to cache. I you have any cache plugin installed, please disable that and see if that solves the issue.

If that works, you will have to exclude login url from cache.

I hope this works for your.

Anyone found a resolve for this issue? We didn’t have a cache plugin installed so tried adding in a cache plugin and selecting exclude the login and other ultimate member pages and still getting the invalid nonce error. This is causing serious issues as members are struggling to log into our site. If no one has a resolve for this issue does anyone have recommendations for a different member plugin as we can no longer rely on this company’s plug in as they don’t respond to these forums. Thank you for any guidance on this problem.

My users and I sometimes get the “invalid nonce” error. It is hard to replicate, but it seems to be happening more and more frequently. Now, of about 30 users, I get a report about once or twice a week of this error.I use a cache plugin called wp-optimize, but it does not resolve the problem to exclude the login page from caching. When my users get this error, I tell them to log in through wp-admin, which will work every time. Also, erasing the cache on the browser has worked. However, I am about to create a new online class with 70 new users who would not understand how to “clear cache” on their browser or “login through wp-admin”. If these users get this error, it could become a tremendous headache. I had been using ultimate member for over 2 years without this problem. All of a sudden, on 6/17, this happened for the first time. Could this be related to a recent update?
I am also desperately looking for a resolve to this issue or at least understand it better.

    Same here. Any solution? ??

Every time again and again. And then it works for a couple of users (I have 3000) and then someone complains about this error on the same days. And I already disconnected Ultimate member Online and Ultimate Member reCaptcha, but all with no result? What else can I do..?

    Any solutions, please….?

My site is having exactly the same problem. We have no caching other that which WPEngine provides, but I do not have any control on that. Our current customers can’t register, new customers are demanding refunds. When will this be solved?

I’ve solved it in the meantime. It seems to be a caching issue as stated before.

    If you exclude

    \members\
    \login\
    \register\
    \account\

And any other paths associated with your login/register process from your caching plugin the process just works again.

    Thanks Jaap,

Did what you suggested, but did not work. I also had to disable the plugin Ultimate Member – reCAPTCHA to get it working again. So the reason seems to be the UM environment and should have been solved by now.

    Wat een gedoe Jaap…

I don’t have that plug-in enabled, and I do agree, UM should have reacted by now. I have been trying to reach them through social media, but they seem to have vanished when Covid broke out. I am wondering if people paying for this plug-in are actually getting any support?

En ja, zeker gedoe, en erg jammer dat er gewoon nul reactie komt.

Please refer to this article, i found it very useful: https://www.infrexa.com/invalid-nonce-error-in-login-register-page/

@singhvirat , Thank you for the article. I have disabled caching for all the Ulitmate Member pages but not for the dashboard. I will try that and see if it makes a difference. The biggest problem is this invalid nonce error is unpredictable. Users get this error sporadically so it is hard to immediately know if any changes I have made have resolved the problem.

@jamesiwate , Thanks for your response. You can check the changes immediately. Just ‘clear the cache’ and ‘delete the expired cache files’ and try to log in and out for 3-4 times in the same window.

Possibly, you will not get the same issue, if you have followed the process properly as articulated in the article: https://www.infrexa.com/invalid-nonce-error-in-login-register-page/

I have same problem and could not solve it yet!
Have someone got a good solution?
