• Hi David,

    I recently did the below steps, not ideal but it worked except for this error message after verifying:

    Site 17 (xxx.xxx.xx/) has an invalid meta value in fileupload_url. This may prevent access to this site or disable some features.

    These where the steps:
    (1) created a new site on the primary network a while ago;
    (2) created a new network without a primary site because I wanted to make the previously created site the primary site;
    (3) could not connect to the network admin for this new network because it redirected to an URL where a ‘/’ was missing between the domain name and ‘wp-admin/network/’
    (4) still found the courage to move the site to the new network and found suddenly the new network admin became accecssible — phewww ??
    (5) manually changed the sites URL to match the networks URL after which is was recognized as the primary site for the new network — great that worked too! ??
    (6) did a Verify on the new network and got that error above.

    When going to the sites Media section and uploading a new file, it all worked fine. Then visiting the wp-admin/options.php page I was able to set a value to fileupload_url which was empty. (Is that unusual?)

    Verifying after this, the error was gone. But it did make me wonder about this fileupload_url and tried moving another site. This time no error but I did notice that the value for fileupload_url had not been changed according to the new network domain. It is still the old network domain… Will that cause problems?
