Had to reset the password via WordPress Dashboard and it fixed the problem.

Im having the same problem, restarted the password via wordpess and still no luck, any ideas?

Use the right username for login at your WordPress site: it begins with “disqus_”. Don’t use the username, that you have generated at Disqus for your site moderation. With this it works finally for me.

Hi could this be the same problem we have, we just installed the plugin, and when we try to login from worpress dashboard it just erase our data and the message it shows is “Unable to connect to the Disqus API servers”.
I already tried to login with the username, the email, and also with that disqus_ plus the username and then plus the email, but it didn’t worked. Any ideas to solve this?
The plugin version is compatible with our wordpress version. Is active. But is not visible working on the site. Do we need to do any other step to correct this!? Thanks for the help

I am also having the same issue. I have tried email, username and disqus_username with no luck. I’ve also reinstalled the plugin and changed my password ??

    Is the plugin still supported?

I’m having the exact same problem, did anybody resolved this issue?

i solved this by creating a new site on disqus site’s dashboard
