Hi, we’ve suddenly start getting invalid items detected in Woocommerce product breadcrumbs by Googles SEO tools this week. It looks like the LAST item in the breadcrumb list is missing the item field (which should be a url) and Google is complaining about all the breadcrumbs as this is a required field.

I’ve censored the image as client doesn’t want their name out on random forums, bit hopefully it should be clear that the last listItemElement is missing it’s item field, and therefore it’s URL.

    Hello @delanthear,

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. You can fix issues with your breadcrumb schema by taking a look at this help article: Google Search Console: Breadcrumb Schema Report.

Hi, following that guide, I’ve verified that the breadcrumb is being created by YOAST as it’s within a yoast-scema-graph ld-json script tag.

This verifies that the last itemListElement is missing an item tag.

That page you’ve linked to says: “The breadcrumb markup is incomplete. With default settings, this is not likely to occur with Yoast SEO breadcrumbs. Please contact support for further assistance.”

    Help?

It would be helpful if you can provide the affected URL. If you feel uncomfortable doing this, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.

Hi, They’ve all just started passing on Webmaster tools again. I’ve no idea why as nothing has changed. :/
