    Hi,
In Google search console under Shopping/Merchant Listings all products are invalid.

    Reason:
    Why items are invalid
Invalid items can’t be used to generate rich results on Google

    Issue:
    Missing field “priceType” (in “offers.priceSpecification”)

Can this be fixed in Yoast?

    Thank You

    Hello @djwilko12 & @wooguy

I am sorry to learn about the schema error in Google Search Console.

Google has recently updated its specification for a bunch of eCommerce schema, and this is now causing a few errors in Google Search Console and the Rich Result Test tool that didn’t occur before. Our SEO team is already aware of this and have released version 15.2 which adapts our plugins to meet the new eCommerce specification.

Can you please update to that version and confirm the issue is resolved?

    Thanks @maybellyne for your reply!
I updated the plugin and still getting the errors: Invalid value in field “priceSpecification” (in “offers”)
I also tested the schema before and after the update, and havent found any difference in the schema output related to “priceSpecification”.
    Could you please check?
    Thanks!

I also updated and gave it a couple of days but nothing changed under merchant listings.

@wooguy, you can check instantly at the Rich Results Test:

@maybellyne – 15.2 is not yet available in the plug in catalog for download, it has to be manually installed. That may be slowing adoption. That said, 15.2 does not resolve the issue.

Update: Short version, v15.2 resolves the issue.

Long version: I emailed Yoast support and they replied:

“The issue experienced is due to cache. Google is still analysing the cached version of the page. Can you please clear plugin cache or server cache and then check to see if this has been resolved?

I checked the nocache version of your page, and everything is fine. See this link: {link removed}”

    She was correct.

    1. I was not aware that adding ?nocache was an option, and it works great. That you Adetola!

    2. I’m not sure what happened, because I cleared cache twice and even deactivated WProcket plugin completely after the upgrade. I repeated it this morning, and was successful.

I’m am now receiving the message-
“Items with this issue are invalid. Invalid items are not eligible for Google Search’s rich results”

This is different from the previous one.

    Something else?

I am using Yoast version 19.7.1

    Thank you

    @pyrosoft

Yes that is the same error I am receiving.
Invalid value in field “priceSpecification” (in “offers”)

I did some looking around and some say it is a Google issue.
