    Hi

Set up the feed using the plugin and it worked really well for a week or so, but now showing ‘Invalid image encoding [image link]’ error on all products- not sure why.

An example of the error showing the product link in place of the image link, but in the plugin the image_link is set to Featured Image.

Any help or advice wil be much appreciated.

    Uchi

    Hi @uchijjang,

Strange. Have not heard that before. Is the error only on the image_link element?

Did you recently change any image related plugin?

    Hi Michel,

Thank you for the reply, yes, that seems to be the only error that affects all of the products – there are some other minor errors to do with product availability but I don’t think they are related.

There’s an Optimisation tool on the website that optimise images and also general WebP versions of the image, I don’t know if that makes any difference?

    Thank you

Is it possible to temporary deactivate the optimisation tool and regenerate the feed to check if that makes any difference?

    Hi @uchijjang,

Where you able to test deactivating the optimisation tool and see if that has an affect on the feed?

    Hi

It didn’t seem to make any difference, but I deleted the existing feed on Google Merchant and then added again, it seems to be working now, so hopefully it will stay that way.

    Thank you!

OK, great that it’s working again. I’ll close your topic then. Should the issue return again don’t hesitate to reopen it again.

    Have a nice day.
