I have a form with an email field, but when entering a value wihout “@” there’s no “invalid email” error message. How can I be sure that the users enter only valid email addresses ?

    Hi @stlecho,

Hope this message finds you well.

Our Forminator Email field does have a validation feature in the Settings tab:

Is that option enabled? Let us know.

    Best regards,

Enabling the validation feature solves indeed the issue. It might be nice to activate it by default for email fields ??

    Hi @stlecho

I’m glad the issue is solved.

I’ll mark this topic as resolved then but if you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to ask anyway.

As for making the option default – yeah, I see what you mean but we actually had a lot of requests in the past to make it not-default so that’s why it is that way. If there’ll be more request to make it default again, we might change it back at some point ??

    Best regards,
    Adam
