When I add the MailPoet widget to the sidebar on my blog archive page, the bottom of the form displays this error message: “ERROR for site owner: Invalid domain for site key.” (The widget is not there at the moment, for that reason.)

I have validated the key, and verified it on my MailPoet account page. E-mails are going out without issue. The only potential conflict I can see is that my “send from” address uses a different domain. I have checked the KB and the forum and don’t see this exact issue. Any ideas?

    Thank you,
    Jim

    Hi there @amrevnc,

I believe the error you are seeing is likely related to the reCaptcha functionality, and is referring to the key you are using from Google. Please make sure your key is for the correct domain where you are activating it, as described in the “Enabling Google ReCAPTCHA” section of our guide here:
    https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/182-add-a-captcha-to-the-mailpoet-subscription-forms

Alternatively, you could try switching the “Protect your forms against spam signups” setting to use the Built-in Captcha option under MailPoet > Settings > Advanced to see if that resolves the error.

Please let me know how that goes, or if you have any questions!
