    It must be something dull or silly, but I’ve tried a lot of stuff and nothing has worked. Everytime I try a different username/url/channel id/whatever, I get the same (annoying by now) “Invalid Channel Name – check spelling” sign.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi alfabetadigital,

    With youtube it is very confusing to figure out the channel name, I spent an hour trying to figure out my own client’s channel name.

    It’s often NOT the hash after the /user/ in the youtube channel URL. Check out this channel here:

    https://www.youtube.com/user/thekiteboatproject/featured

    The channel name is actually “kiteboat”, the title that appears beside the logo, above the number of subscribers on that page. I don’t get it either!

    If you have multiple channels, switch to that channel to get the name. It’s very frustrating, I agree. What can you expect from a company who changes their product name every 6 months!

    Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I had tried that one, to be exact, I’ve tried “RN Pehuen Co” (the name besides the logo and the one that shows up when you switch channels). That same one all together, complete urls https://www.youtube.com/rnpehuenco and https://www.youtube.com/user/RNPehuenCo (witch caps). No luck yet, any ideas? THanks again for the quick reply ??

    @alfabetadigital,

    Well, this hasn’t been a quick reply, has it? Sorry. I’m going to have to revise this section of the code of the plugin.

    Check this out.

    Your channel ID according to this lookup tool is “UCVx_-M7ByJy0EQXCyE7zunA”.
    Yes, that is not intuitively obvious.

    Hi, I tried what you’ve suggested and after deleting everything and re-installing it worked.
