Invalid author ID when creating page/post from iOS app

Recently I have not been able to create posts or pages from the iOS app. My site is running 6.1.1.

What I have tried:
– Create a new page; unable to save or publish
– Create a new post; unable to save or publish
– Update an existing post; able to save (haven’t verified publishing)
– Delete a post created in the app; able to delete the post
– Moved a page from Trashed to Drafts; fails with message “Invalid author ID.”

What can I do?
