Invalid argument error in functions.php

  • I’ve used WP Clone to back up a couple of sites, however, today I tried to backup one and I keep getting the error below. I’ve tried uninstalling the plugin, checked the install directory was empty and reinstalled … however, the error still persists.
    Any ideas how to rectify it?

    which version were you running when you got this error?

    I get the same error. I host at https://hostbandit.com.

    I have my account set to SAFE MODE OFF. Do I also need to have open base dir restriction off as well?

    I installed WordPress using Installatron. I have many WordPress installs but your plugin isn’t working for me.

    When I click on the link it says file not found. I think that this is due to a permissions/ownership issue such as your plugin’s upload directory being created by PHP/Apache and owned by Apache instead of by the Unix username.

    Any instructions on how to fix this?

    I was getting a similar error but with 446 instead of 447 as the line number. The fix for me was to change my server php version from 5.2 to 5.4. Works fine now both in terms of creating a backup and restoring from one.
