    Could you tell me what “Invalid Account” means during a failed payment? Is that a failure on the customer side or is that an indication that’s something wrong on our WooCommerce Payments side?

    Hello @chrisalton11,

    Could you tell me what “Invalid Account” means during a failed payment? Is that a failure on the customer side or is that an indication that’s something wrong on our WooCommerce Payments side?

    It depends on where you’re seeing the error and whether you have any third-party extensions, for example, membership plugins. I suggest switching to test mode and test purchasing something as a guest with one of these cards. If the problem is not present, then it most likely has to do with the customer’s payment method.

    If you’re able to confirm its server/website related, please attach the following so we can look further into this:

    • A screenshot of the behaviour you’re encountering, you can use Snipboard.
    • A copy of your system status report. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
    • It’s also worth checking if there are any fatal error logs from WooCommerce > Status > Logs and choosing from the drop-down menu the fatal-errors.log option.
