  • A plugin should do one thing, and do it well. Backup WordPress stole my heart when I came back to a site I maintain a year later. I want to upgrade all plugins and wordpress core. Best practice is always backup. If in doubt back it up. 47 seconds later I had a backup and ready to upgrade.
