Intrusive banner ads on backend is simply outrageous

  • Yoast Seo is already fully bloated with various kinds of crap. It even constantly makes ajax requests to Yoast.com for tracking admin and other details about the website. Now it has gone one step ahead by showing instrusive banner ads on backend which is simply outrageous. I request WordPress team to get rid of this bloat once and for all. If they’re so interested in selling their premium extensions, they should just sell them on yoast.com and not bother the rest of us, there are many simple SEO plugins available already that do more for free..

    We understand that the Black Friday banner was annoying. Although it was dismissable, it was a bit buggy so last Thursday we released Yoast SEO v12.6.2 which completely removes the banner from the admin panel.
