Intrinsic Image Size Smaller than Rendered Image
-
I am a photographer and want the images on my website to appear as high quality as possible. I’ve uploaded an image to my media center that is 1600px x 1067px. I’ve saved the image as webp to help reduce file size while maintaining quality.
But no matter what I do, I’ve noticed that the intrinsic size of the image is limited to 1024px x 683px, and then it’s being upsized to a 1600px x 1067px rendered size. This results in the image looking terrible.
Is there anything I can do to improve the image quality and prevent images being upsized? Images provided for comparison.
