• Hello WP GuyZ!

I’m developping an intranet for a TownHall and i got a question about my architecture (PS: I’m a preety new web developper ?? ).

Actually people got a primary page with links to their applications/mails etc , and they have two choices go in the townhall intranet or the “association of metropolitan areas” one.

Each “side” will got his own sidebar/footer/menu but the pages tempates could be the same.
SO my question is : Whats the better way in wordpress to do it?

Actually i was going to do this like this :

Index.php (Big apps icons + links)
    link1:Townhall.php
    link2:metropilitan.php

I would have create a specific menu and sidebar for each of them (top_menu-town etc.)

But i’m not sure thats the best way to do it.Maybe use php to make some conditional functions would be better?

The other point is ill not stay in their service for long so they will need to admin&publish content by theirself later.

I hope my engish is correct ,my goal is to work near San Francisco asap so i’m trying to force myself in using this nice english language a bit more ??

    Kind Regards!
    Kevin

    Hey back,

I’ve been working on it , i tried to make it like i said but ATM i got the error one townhall.php : Call to undefined function get_header()….

I guess its because my file isnt recognized as a WP’s one.

Any idea how i could do it?
