• I’ve set up a calendar with a number of recurring events. That calendar is in a grouped calendar that show all of the events. I’ve made the span 6 mos.

I also want just the next event from that same calendar to appear on a page. When I use the shortcake, it shows the span of 6 months. I’ve done some digging and found the old version had a variable called ‘interval’ and ‘interval_count’. I was hoping that would work here…but it doesn’t.

Any suggestions on how to get just the next event in a series of recurring events?

You should be able to use this setting (if it’s a list):

Then you would want to set your span of 6 months in your Start and End dates.

    Thanks Nick.

I can get it to span (which is what I want for the Combined calendar) but on it’s own, I just want to show 1 event (the next one)…without showing the entire span worth on that page.

    Hope that makes sense?

Did you use the setting I posted above? That will set it to show just X number of events.

Yes, as I said, I used the span setting so that it can show X number of events for the combined calendar…my question is how can I show just one event on another page using a shortcode?

You would just create a calendar with the span set to 1 event and then use the shortcode that is generated for that calendar.
