If you already have the script and want to embed it, I recommend creating a new ad unit (ad type: plain text and code) and insert the ad code there. Afterward, you need to assign this ad to a placement.
I am sure that your ad network provides the information where exactly you need to insert the code. If you should embed it before the closing /head tag, please, create a head placement. But if your network advises you to integrate the code before the closing /body tag, create a footer placement.
If you want to embed interstitial ads but don’t have a script for that, you can create it by using a workaround with the PopUp and Layer ads add-on.
