Internet Explorer issues with side-bar HTML

I was hoping somebody could give a quick fix to this. It’s a typical “works fine in Safari, Opera, FF, but not IE” issue.

I have HTML widgets on the left side-bar that simply don’t display in Internet Explorer. You can see the large blank space underneath “A Bit about the Blog” (supposed to be a brief blog description) and nothing underneath “A Bit about the Blogger” (supposed to have link to an “About Me” page).

Is there a fix to this? Thanks in advance.
