Web Site: 101 Cooking For Two
    Theme: Genesis/Foodie

I rarely look at IE but somewhere in the last two weeks, all images that reside in the upload folder stopped appearing in IE 10 or 11. They will appear correctly in IE8. All images also appear correctly in windows version of Firefox, Safari and Chrome. iPad and iPhones are also OK. The header appears but is located in the theme folder and the ads are good.

Since the site transitioned from Blogger to WordPress about one month ago, I used WP Smash.it during that period and WordPress updated to 3.8.

I have deactivated Smash.it and uploaded some replacements but they still don’t appear. I have flushed, turned of and on various features in W3TC and CloudFlare (also deactivated). I have deactivate plug-ins. No effect.

Any ideas?????? I have the feeling that the compression is the problem but can’t seem to prove it.

    Anybody else with similar issues.

    All help/ideas appreciated.

It seems from here that his Theme is not Supported with New WP 3.8 & IE.

Please ask original author support here: https://shaybocks.com/support/
I hope we’ll provide you the right & exact solution for this issue.

I will check with them but it does not seem to be theme related. Switch to the default theme and to Lifestyle Pro does not change the behavior.

The answer is CloudFlare Mirage 2 setting (which is labeled as Beta). In examining the code, style=”display:none;visibility:hidden” was appearing with all the images that did not display in IE. This was being inserted by CloudFlare.

Oh my goodness! I’m so glad I have found this discussion. I have been going mad for a week on why on earth the images were disappearing on my https pages. I have opened tickets with everyone, hosting company, theme developers, plugins developers, certificate providers, cloudflare… NOBODY had an idea on why this was happening!

    THank you so much
