Internet Explorer formatting issues

    I have been building my website with the Motif Theme using Safari and Firefox and am just getting ready to launch. However, I’ve had some test users with Internet Explorer and they’re reporting formatting issues (text in wrong places, links wrong colors, etc). When I was able to check for myself in Windows 7 with IE 8, I see that there are indeed many formatting issues. Not sure how to fix these problems. Any suggestions?

    PS., the website appears exactly as I want it in Safari, Firefox, and Chrome.
