Internet explorer cannot open the internet site

    After logging in my site, https://www.svdc.net, and trying to open and manage a page, I get this error message.

    “Internet explorer cannot open the internet site
    https://svdc.net/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=65
    Operation aborted”

    You then have to click OK, and it closes out of the site.

    However, I do not have this problem with Mozilla Firefox. New theme developed by contractor and he told me that this is a universal problem with WordPress and IE. Is he misleading me?
