Internet Explorer Bug Issue

Hello,
This is my first wordpress driven site. Here is the current address where I placed it Link Unfortunately, in IE a large amount of space appears between the navigation and the header. This doesn’t seem to occur in Firefox though. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening?
