internet explorer 9 issue

Hi, thanks for sharing this tip.
I just tried IE 9.0.19 and I do not see any issue. Do you have a screenshot or a website I can try myself?

In IE9, you see a full size image and in mozilla the size is 30 which is the way it’s set in the code.

in cimy_uef_functions.php line 740 you have:
$avatar = "<img alt='{$safe_alt}' src='{$value}' class='avatar avatar-{$size} photo' height='{$size}' width='{$size}' />";

when I change this to:

$avatar = "<img alt='{$safe_alt}' src='{$value}' class='avatar avatar-{$size} photo' style='height:{$size}px; width:{$size}px' />";

then it works.

Because usually avatars are displayed in the admin’s panel and there is included /wp-includes/css/wp-admin.css that has code to handle that.
You can easily add the same to your theme’s css, without modifying my code:

.spam-undo-inside .avatar,
.trash-undo-inside .avatar {
	height: 20px;
	width: 20px;
	margin-right: 8px;
	vertical-align: middle;
}

My dilemma is that I have many different sizes of avatars sizes: 30, 50 … even 180. I don’t think it would be wise to have different separate size styles in css.

edba1970: The problem is caused by your file css/bootstrap.css at

img {
  width: auto\9;
  height: auto;
  [...]
}
