    The “Follow on Instagram” button displays as a large square block on Internet Explorer 11. No issues in Edge, Chrome, or Firefox. See plugin near bottom of page.

    Hey pwaara,

    Sorry for the issue here! It looks like it might be something specific to your site from what I can tell.

    Can you try going to the “Customize” tab and switch the “Font Source” setting to “Font File” to see if that helps?

    I use the plugin on four different sites, and they all have the same issue displaying the Follow button in Internet Explorer 11.

    Did you mean Icon Method (and not Font Source)? Changing that from SVG to Font File did fix the issue. Thanks for that workaround. There is still an issue displaying the icon as SVG on Internet Explorer 11, but I’m satisfied with the workaround as long is still looks good in all the modern browsers.

    Hello again,

    Ahh you are correct about this. I was looking at our “Pro” version which is working fine in IE 11.

    We will fix this in an update but in the mean time, try adding this to the “Custom CSS” area on the “Customize” tab:

    #sb_instagram svg:not(:root).svg-inline–fa {
    height: 1em;
    }

    Let me know if you’re still having trouble!

    Hi Craig,

    Yes, the CSS also works, so either changing SVG to Font File or using the custom CSS fixes the issue on Internet Explorer 11. Do you recommend one over the other?

    If you’d like to use SVG icons, then the snippet is the way to go. Either one is fine otherwise. You can remove the code or switch the setting back to “SVGs” after the next update.

    Thanks!
