Internet Explore displays my horizontal menu vertical

  • Sort of a new rendition of the “turn your brown eyes blue” song….

    Why people use IE asa browser anymore is really beyond me, but while most still do, placate its rottenness we must.

    I am trying to find what is causing my horizontal menu to list as vertical when in an Internet Explorer borwser but am coming up with nada. Theme is “Victoria.” you’ll note that the green background at top isn’t repeated below The other menu items in the IE example are just in the white area, invisible because of thier white text.

    If anyone knows how to make these menu items horizontal in IE, as they are in ALL other browsers I’ve been testing on, I’d really appreciate it and will give you big props in the recognition area when the site goes live.

  • I read that if you remove the spaces from the list, it fixes the display problem in IE.

    What if the list is a page list. Not an html list. It’s generating pages from the pages I make in wordpress?

    the problem is also down below it where the feature post is droppingdown below the space it belongs instead of next to the logo where it’s positioned.

    There has got to be a fix out there short of convincing the world that Internet Explorer is utter crap.

    What IE are you talking about? For mac? Nobody cares – it is not supported for years. No, people don’t use it.

    A lot of people are using IE 6 still these days. I’m sorry. I wish it wasn’t so. It is, though. I’m talking about IE for Windows. Two bad things that go badly together. I would like to point out, though, that the site renders the same in IE Windows that it does for last version of IE Mac.
