Hi @crommag27,
Thanks for getting back to us. I understand that you want to set up international shipping for certain products only, and not for all of your products. As my colleague mentioned this is possible with WooCommerce, but you will need to use some additional settings and plugins to achieve this.
First, you will need to create shipping zones for the countries or regions that you want to ship to. You can do this by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping and clicking on Add Zone. You can name each zone and select the locations that belong to it. You can also add multiple shipping methods for each zone, such as flat rate, free shipping, local pickup, etc.
Next, you will need to assign shipping classes to your products. Shipping classes are used to group products that have similar shipping characteristics, such as weight, size, or type. You can create shipping classes by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping classes and clicking on Add shipping class. You can name each class and add a description for it. Then, you can edit each product and select the shipping class that applies to it under the Shipping tab.
Finally, you will need to use a plugin that allows you to restrict shipping methods based on shipping classes. One such plugin is the WooCommerce Conditional Shipping and Payments plugin. This plugin lets you create rules that determine the availability of shipping methods based on various conditions, such as product categories, shipping classes, cart totals, etc. You can use this plugin to create rules that only allow certain shipping methods for certain shipping classes in certain shipping zones. For example, you can create a rule that only allows flat rate shipping for products with the shipping class “International” in the shipping zone “Europe”.
I hope this helps you set up international shipping for certain products only. Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
