Edits to product descriptions in the customs field do not appear on the label, it reverts to the original product description. Also the commercial invoice that is generated does not accurately calculate total value. An order with three items valued at $48 each for a total of $144 is listed as $48 total with each item valued at $16.

  • Hello biopharm,

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

I understand you’re experiencing issues with custom fields not updating on labels, and inaccuracies in the commercial invoice’s total value calculation.

To help troubleshoot this further, could you please share screenshots of the issue so I can get a clearer picture? Specifically, I want to see screenshots of customs fields in the product edit screen, labels, and commercial invoices.

Also, could you let me know how you’re generating the commercial invoice?
Are you using any 3rd party plugins for this process?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best regards.

    Thank you for responding.

I’m generating the commercial invoice by clicking “Print Customs Form” after the label has been purchased. I’m not using a 3rd party plugin for this.

Prior to purchasing the label the product description was edited and an HS Tariff Number was added but these changes were not reflected on the label or invoice after purchase.

You can also see that the “Unit Value” is listed as $16 on the invoice when it should be $48 and the subtotal should be $144.

Please let me know if I can provide any more information to assist in resolving this issue.

@kloon, I was able to use the plugin for an international shipment today. Everything seems to work as it should. However, this order was for a single item, so I can not confirm that total weight/price is now calculated correctly. I feel confident that this issue is resolved, just have not had the opportunity to verify. On an unrelated issue, the plugin no longer conflicts with our PayPal plugin. Thanks guys, I appreciate the support.

    Hello @biopharm,

Great to hear that the plugin is working smoothly for international shipments and thank you for sharing your progress and confirming the success of the single-item order.

Please feel free to reach out if you need assistance once you’ve tested multiple items or have additional questions.

Meanwhile, if it isn’t too much to ask for – would you mind leaving us a review?here? It only takes a couple of minutes but helps us tremendously. It would mean so much to us and would go a long way.

    Cheers!
