International characters in template files

BUMP. Please help.

You need to save the files in Unicode encoding.

What is your platform? If you are on Windows, do this:

1. Get Notepad++: https://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/
2. Open a PHP template in Notepad++
3. Go to Format (5th menu) and select UTF-8 without BOM
4. Add some international characters
5. Upload the file to see if it is OK

There is only the copyright sign left to fix. ?? You can do this without converting the template to Unicode, by using the HTML character entity reference, which works in all encodings:
