Internal Sync/Merge plugin

It depends on what external management software you want to connect. You might take a look at Zapier to check if there are any integrations you can use.

Where is the external data stored?
Cloud? Files? Database?
There are several ways depending on how you can access the external data, or if they have an api. If it is a straight up file:

@hiyottaunits the external mangement software is not in Zapier.

@corrinarusso the files of the external software are also in wordpress trough the plugin

Hi,

If you can get/export data from management software, you can try the tools @corrinarusso mentioned to import them to display. The better way is to know the database schema of management software, write a plugin to get data directly from that database, and display them on pages by the format you want.

I’m not speaking about exporting data from the management software.

1) We have a real estate software where you create properties. The software have WP plugin and is connected to you WP page. The software already propose a preview option but the design and the options are not good.

2) We have on the WP a real estate theme and also with property management but the property management is not good configured.

-> we want to merge/sync the both

Are there two WordPress sites, or only one? Is all the data already in the site where you want it displayed?

Hi @wemsagency, thanks for your explanation. Merge/sync the both needs to know their APIs (if they provide that to read/write data) or database structure(schema). Such plugins/themes usually don’t have APIs and their database structure is not public. Maybe you can ask the authors of 1) or 2) to customize codes to meet your requirements.

I hope you got this sorted out – bc I don’t understand why there needs to be a sync if the data is all in one instance of WordPress.
Just add a template to output the real estate information from the table it lives in. You could create a custom post type, then output your data.
We already do this all the time using the DDF from realtor.ca

@corrinarusso we got the external real estate property data in one WP plugin and we need this real estate property data in another WP plugin. This is why we need to copy and merge the data from one plugin to another.

Hm.
Why not just update the ‘other plugin’ to access the data from the real estate plugin?
Not a good idea to create this reliance. The data is already there – no need to duplicate things and add complexity.
