    Hi
First of all thanks for your job it is perfect
I actually use ” Foyer ” for internal display in a public school in France where the use of youtube for video hosting is prohibited. So is there a way to select a local video on my PC in order to display it ?
When I integrate it in a post, it only lasts the duration of the slide and sounds all way long during the other slides.

    Once again thanks for all.

  • Hi, I have try the internal source on my wordpress installation but I have an issue, the video don’t load automatically when I add it, I need to refresh the browser tab.

I have tried with this video:
    https://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/gtv-videos-bucket/sample/BigBuckBunny.mp4 from https://gist.github.com/jsturgis/3b19447b304616f18657 .
To reproduce just add this video in a channel that is already displayed and wait 5minutes. Instead of the video you’ll see a black or white screen.

Hi @gunbaha could you send over that video file, or a link, with the original filename, so I can test? Also what browser did you use?

You can use this form to send me the file:
    https://foyer.tv/send-info/

Hi @amosar, thanks for pointing this out!

I did some tests and you are right. When viewing a display / channel that does not include a slide with Video background yet, then adding a slide with a Video background, the video will not play. You need to refresh the browser to get it to play.

When opening a display / channel that already includes a slide with Video background that video plays fine. Also after adding an additional slide with a Video background, also that video will play without problems.

Will try to fix this asap!

Hey @amosar, just fixed this issue in the new Foyer 1.7.2. update. Could you also test it?
