• When I try to post, I get an Internal Server Error (ISE). “The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.”

My host checked the error log for me and says the problem seems to be at my end, not the server end. I was unable to find any emalloc() function in the WP code. My scripts seem to be coded properly. What should I be looking for?

I searched and did not find a similar problem in the posts. No doubt others are more advanced and are not baffled by something like this…

Here is what the error log says: [Fri Dec 14 12:54:58 2007] [error] [client
67.162.223.65] FATAL: emalloc(): Unable to allocate

  • That’s a memory error. You need to get with your host and see if they’ll bump up the allocated memory for php. Be sure to copy that error along when you do.
