    To whom it may concern:

    I got a message “Internal server error” as shown as attached after moving into “visual editor” mode of SiteOrigin Custom CSS, it had been happening since yesterday, I checked with the web hosting ISP people and he suggest it should be a problem inside WordPress CMS, I’m still checking on the issue, hoping a solution will come up and shared after I post it here. Thanks for your attention in advance.

    As a side note, I got two different website up and running and both installed the plugin and other similar set of plugins, in the same server, one of installed plugin is OK, another one got this error message.

    PS.: For www.remarpro.com forum moderator, I repeatedly post two very similar questions in this plugin forum because I got a strange message from the forum and said “This post has been held for moderation by our automated system. It will be reviewed within 72 hours.”, please delete another post and keep this post, thank.

    Hi Benxy,

    Would you mind running a quick plugin conflict test?

    You can start by disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue. You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins. So just to confirm, double check if the issue is coming up while all other plugins are disabled.

    If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue. Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    You could also try temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Sixteen. Default WordPress themes are generally very light weight which lowers the chance that they’ll conflict with plugins, so they’re a good way to test if your original theme is the source of the issue.

    Hi @alexgso

    Thanks for your reply, I will look into it. The next question might sound odd, assuming I really want to take your suggestion into actions, but, what if the site is a business website owned by one of the clients? What is the best practice to do this? Switch on maintenance mode? What do you suggest about the practical way to handle responses of a client for switching into maintenance mode? Thanks.

    After review of your reply just now, a question derives from a thought during the read, when you referred a web page of WordPress dot org about Clearing All Caches, the web page describes a big range for clearing caches, do you mean I need to go through every item within the web page? Or perhaps you meant to specified some item such as “clearing browser cache” which is more standard and general? Thanks for your attention. The difference of your answer makes a big difference in my later action.

    Hi @benxy20gylinxu,

    Sorry for the delay.

    I would recommend temporarily enabling a maintenance mode plugin to ensure no on sees the website during this state.

    Just the specific section on browser cache. If you’re using a cache plugin you should disable it in its settings and then disable it to ensure it doesn’t interfere.
