This is a WP/Hosting Server/PHP/MySQL specific issue. I’m sorry but I have no clue why it happens on your website. I only can recommend increase server resources, please send these data to your hosting service support and ask them to change PHP values to these:

    • php_value max_input_vars 100000
    • php_value max_execution_time 3000
    • php_value memory_limit = 256M

I just checked and my godaddy host will do that shortly.
But, in admin panel (if wpForo plugin is installed) every ajax request is throwing 500 error.
I went to update a plugin but it threw 500 error at once.
I had to disable the wpForo and the update was done.
    Please help.
Do you think that this is still due to the low memory condition?
Can u pls suggest anything? Its really very urgent.

I need PHP error reporting to be able help you. The 500 Internal Server error has 500 reasons, some of them I’ve already mentioned in my last post.
In order to detect the exact reason, please try to find error.log file or error reporting data which has been written on wpForo activation or usage.

I checked every log files, but no error is logged regarding wpForo or admin-ajax.php…
after a long brainstorming i upgraded from php 5.4 to php 5.6… and all is ok now!
