• I have had a few problems with my blog going down.
    I now get message:
internal server error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

I have checked error logs in my hosting account and these two issues seem to be recurring

Anyone any ideas how to rectify the issue so I can get up and running again?

    Thanks Ann

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. You may need to access /wp-login.php to get this to kick in fully.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of your version of WordPress.
