internal server error

  • The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete my plugin activation request.

    The error occurs every time, when i try and activae a new plugin in my wordpress blog https://www.medinmark.com/blog/.

    I activated two forum plugins : wp-forum & then xd-forum respectively.(one after the another, on faliure of first one not working). Though i deactivated these plugins from my admin panel (wordpress); & subsequently, i deleted them from remote ftp; but, i still find their mention on remote site listing of my ftp client.

    I am reletively new to the wordpress environment. I am afraid that something out of these activities might have caused the error.

    Kindly help me to rectify the problem.

  • Try clearing your browser cache and then CTRL-F5 hard refreshing. If that doesn’t help, maybe do a search for how to clear the wp-cache (if you have one).
