Internal Page linking not working

    When editing a Page and inserting a link, I cannot link to another internal page using the dialog that appears. It shows the list of pages, but when I click on any of them, nothing happens (not even an error in the javascript console).

    I’m using Firefox 9.0, but it also didn’t work in 8.0.

    I don’t have an alternative editor plugin installed. I do have Advanced Custom Fields, but that shouldn’t influence this feature at all.

    Everything is up-to-date.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Actually, I started by deactivating plugins one by one. Deactivating all of them was a bit taking it too far, iyam.

    And I found the culprit. A plugin that puts an old javascript into the page, which is what must have interfered with the internal linkage. The script wasn’t even neccesary to begin with, so good riddens ??
