Internal links taking too long to load on home page

Hello,
Hope everyone is well.
Recently I noticed that there are 2 internal links on my home page that are taking a bit too long to load compared to all the other links on the website.

1. Link to the gallery – further down on the home page there is some text that links to our gallery (“Take a look at our growing portfolio”) and it always takes a while to load. On the other hand, there is a Gallery option in the actual menu at the top of the site that points to the same page, but it tends to load quicker. Not sure if the word count of the actual text has anything to do with the loading speed?
2. FAQ – at the bottom of the website there is a link for Frequently Asked Questions. This has always loaded a bit slow from the get go and it just points to a page with 2 articles that answer some commonly asked questions. Nothing too complex.

I just wanted to know if there are specific factors which contribute to the slow loading speed of internal links? I’m aware that galleries may load slower depending on the amount/size of pictures, but the pics are all compressed and the gallery only loads slow when it’s been entered from the link on the actual home page, and not from the menu/header.

Hope this makes sense, any advice would be much appreciated.
