• I haven’t been working on our site today, and suddenly all internal links are getting a 404 error message.

I’ve tried various themes, including the default WP themes, but still the same.

Text is still there in Manage/Pages.

Posts still function on Home Page.

Could anyone suggest a reason? Error message below.

    https://www.leysinchalet.com

The requested URL /accommodation/mid-level-apartment/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Changed my Permalinks to default, which is a temporary cure, but I assume that Search Engines won’t know the new file names?

And how do I renew .htaccess?

    Many thanks.

did you ever figure this out…i ihave a similar problem..thanks

I had that when I was trying plugins. Changing permalinks to default and then back to “pretty” solved the problem. The htaccess is edited when you do that, so I guess somehow a mistake came in that file and changing permalinks and back took it out.
    Worth a try.
